Quick ways to find blogging inspiration

All writers find it difficult to come up with new content from time to time.   When you can’t think of new material to post your your hotel or travel blog, try browsing some of these resources:

  • Delicious (del.icio.us/popular) – see what people are finding interesting right now (and saving for future reference)
  • Digg (digg.com) – another way to find popular websites and blog posts
  • StumbleUpon (stumbleupon.com) – signup for a free account and toolbar, and you “stumble upon” some good sites in the hospitality and travel industry
  • Travel Forums (VirtualTourist, Lonely Tree, Fodor’s) – find and answer questions real travellers are asking now
  • Yahoo Answers (answers.yahoo.com) and LinkedIn Answers (linkedin.com/answers) – a more general user base, but you can find more questions to answer here
  • Google Alerts (google.com/alerts) – tell Google to notify you of new material around the web – based on any criteria (I receive daily emails of new hotel and hospitality content)

Of course, it could also help to mix up your posting style.  Try adding some variety to your blog with these post topic ideas.
